Thread Name: Lyr Req: the sky is bluer in scotland?
Subject: RE: the sky is bluer in scotland
The tune is completely different from that of "Star Of The County Down". This song is played in triple (waltz) time. I have a set of two CDs containing this song recorded by The Tartan Lads (The Sounds of Scotland, EMI Records Ltd, Hayes, Middlesex, UK, 1992). According to a short explanation, this song was written by Douglas. The song starts with CHORUS: The sky is bluer in Scotland, The grass is greener-------. / The air smells sweeter, the rivers are deeper. / The mountains are lovelier----. --------- . I cannot follow the words. That's why I asked the lyrics last year, although the title of the thread has been changed to wrong one (CHORDS PLEASE: Leader of the Pack). Anyway, I am looking for the lyrics, too. Does anyone help us?

Regards
