Thread Name: Lyr Add: Sleep Weel My Bairnie (Murdoch Maclean)
Subject: RE: Murdoch Maclean: Sleep Weel My Bairnie
I'd like to open this thread up again.

I was able to source a copy of both "Songs of a Roving Celt" (London 1916) and "The Wind in the Heather" (Stirling 1931). I haven't found a copy of "From Cloch and Clachan" (London 1916).

The reason I sourced them (after finding this thread) is that I recently purchased a typescript novel by Murdoch MacLean which has some possibly identifying information in it—though there is precious little on the internet and one wonders if he wrote under a pseudonym.

The novel was written in 1949 and there is a rather interesting publisher's rejectino letter in the back. His address in 1949 was in Headingley, Leeds.
