As a kid, my parents took me on a vacation trip. One of the stops was a factory that made linoleum. Primary ingredient was linseed oil. [Hence the "lin" part of the name.]
A few years ago, I was restoring a wooden teacher's desk and needed linoleum for the top surface. No longer available.
