Dirty capitalist people smugglers must be severely punished; and people the world over must be educated that leaving your land, your people and your culture for material wealth is NOT a wise thing to do; and that, if from South Asia or Africa to a place as far away from the equator as England, e.g., emigration may result in rickets, from lack of sunlight/vitamin D.

Genuine asylum seekers, though, should be helped, via the UN,to their nearest (in terms of culture and geography) safe nation.
