You just triggered an old forgotten memory. John Denver had stayed at the guest house in Lhasa the week before I arrived. He had held campfire sing arounds where the locals taught him some Tibetan folk songs and he taught them some of his own. It was weird to arrive at an airport in the middle of the Himalayas and hear strange renditions of "Colorado, Rocky Mountain High". Thanks for reminding me.
