Twenty-two of the fifty-one dogs rescued from Michael Vick's business
were taken to the Kanab, Utah animal sanctuary of the
Best Friends Animal Society, over ten years ago.

Of their twenty-two admitted animals,
sixteen have "crossed the Rainbow Bridge,"
some of them -- like 'Mel' and 'Layla' -- lived until this year, 2019.
