The Catholic and Protestant bishops of Cork who hated each other were both dying , the Protestant in a Protestant hospital, the Catholic in Cork's Catholic hospital .The news came to the Catholic bishop that his rival had died . His last words reputedly before dropping dead himself were : "Now the bastard knows who the real bishop of Cork is".
