I heard this song sung by Arlo Guthrie on the Boston Common,
decades ago,
when Pete Seeger still had a voice to sing with,
and the two of them did this open-air concert together.

The chorus is the same;
but Guthrie sang a different conclusion
to the third and final verse:

"... Jimmy was a hero, felt it in his bones/
Said in the words of John Paul Jones:
I DON'T WANT A BUNNY WUNNY . . ."
