The reason I'm thinking about it now is that Frankie Yankovic's instrumental "Saigon Sally", a recording of which was played tonight by DJ Stashu on "Dance With Me, Stanley" ( http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/90726 ) sounded like a bunch of variations of the "monkey-flagpole" passage of "National Emblem".

I hope you'll soon finish the lyrics to the whole piece. The opening passage obviously needs to parody lyrics from one of the 5 stanzas of "Star Spangled Banner", but the closing passage, who has any idea?
