THE Simon Mayor Mandolin Quartet mesmerised a capacity audience at the Courtyard. The encore – a spoof on ‘Home, Home on the Range’ and entitled ‘The Spider in the Shed’ – was gruesomely hilarious and reminiscent of Belloc’s ‘Cautionery Tales’.
