One comment on the previous post: instead of
"They wrapped him in a blanket, and they rolled him like a swag"
I prefer
"They wrapped him in a blanket, and tied him to his prad"
which rhymes better.

There are of course plenty of songs about Napoleon that mention the eighteenth of June, at least one with that as its usual title.

Besides Dave Goulder's January Man, another one that goes through the months, but facetiously, is Flanders and Swann's "A song of the weather", though it applies particularly to England.

Also:
7 March Arkle
1 June Sarah Jane
8 June Warlike Seamen
30 Aug Corbett's barquentine
15 Dec Good Ship Bellorophon
any day in Dec Paddy Lay Back
