Ah keberoxu, how I agree with you! I've never been on Facebook and have no idea what goes on there. It seems rather churlish to criticise a post because 'it's the type of stuff that belongs on Facebook'.

Your thread was most interesting and in my opinion very worthy of discussion and I was moved to comment, in the spirit of the feelings it evoked.

I don't own a mobile phone either, but I hope that the fact I'm not 'savvy' forbids me to post about reactions to a tragedy?

I expect there are quite a few of us 'oldies' on here, and it would be an awful shame if only young Twitterites and Facebookites who avoid duplicating their ethos are allowed on Mudcat.
