Mudcat has a wonderful feature called Mudcat Search. It allows one to bring up information about other threads on a subject that interests you. If you feel that you have something to add to the discussion, it makes sense to revive the thread, no matter how old it is. I would rather see a long thread than several blue links above the title, all on the same subject.

I get really annoyed when someone posts an entry identical or almost identical entry to something which has come before in the thread. That says that the poster has not bothered to read the thread but just wants to make an entry.

The fact that their data control is very insecure means that I would be more vulnerable to hacking. Why should I open myself to more garbage?

re: Phones, Lady Hillary and I both use cell phones. Mine is a flip phone, hers is a smartphone. Both meet our current needs. We have cut off the land line.
