I was reading a short article on "Pomegranate for muscle repair?" which took my eye. Given I dance a lot and - well - I ain't no spring chicken.
The key chemical is Urolithin A which our body, or to be specific gut microbes, generate from Ellagic Acid present in:
Pomegranate Juice, Cloudberries and a wopping dollop in yellow raspberries, plus useful amounts in walnuts and "oak-aged" red wine, et al.
Now I love cloudberry jam (only available in Ikea and then it is seasonal) and pomegranates & raspberries but where can you get yellow raspberries? I will pass on red wine, it gives me a headache much quicker than my cider.
