I didn't note it, perhaps we need to be more explicit at times.
But having said that we only have one GOVErnment and we have had it for some time, and will for some time. It is THE government
Lets face it, the opposition are not in a position to affect much. So the BBC will report what is happening, and the drivers thereof. The opposition fall over themselves to criticise and thereby get in on the news, but usually as a footnote.
I found when I had a political favourite, that (eg) satire was distinctly unfunny when it poked at my favourite. So I contrived not to favour. And you know, the news took on a whole new ambience. Assumed bias in the BBC (or anywhere) can be more readily perceived when you have favourites. Conversely balanced (or nay) is easier to spot when you disfavour all self-serving politicians.
