Thread Name: songs from taped radio programmes
Subject: songs from taped radio programmes
There seems to be a lot of interest in folk radio programmes so, if I can, I'd like to share some of the live stuff I taped back in the late 70's/80's.

This is one attempt at making a CD of songs from these programmes. The sound quality is not that great (given my primitive equipment of the time) but still quite listenable and my attempts at editing can best be described as "abrupt".

Richard Digance - Intro/Rosie
Earl Okin - Upon a Monday Morning-o(at least, that's what I call it - it's about the weather … and a bed!)
Richard Digance - Jungle Cup Final (a monologue)
Isle Of Man Group - Why Not Become a Viking
Richard Digance - Jumping Jack Frog
Matthews Bros. - Step It Up Mary
Noel Murphy - Bricklayers Song
Fred Wedlock - Alphabet Song
Fred Wedlock - Weather Song
Yetties - Seven Drunken Nights
Cambridge Crofters - Barley Mow
Jake Thackray - La-Di-Da
Jake Thackray - The Bantam Cock
Jake Thackray - We Got Killed In The War/On Again
Barry Skinner - Napoleon's Lamentation
Barry Skinner - Shepherd's Song
Drinkers Drooth - Lay Your Money On The Bonny Grey
Drinkers Drooth - Lay Down Your Weary Tune
Drinkers Drooth - Lassie Wi' The Yellow Coatie
Dave Doddington - Up On The Roof
Noel Murphy - Wooden Leg
Noel Murphy - The Pool Song

There's a lot more, if anyone is interested. Perhaps someone can instruct me on how to download them (be aware, I'm not very computer-literate)
