I was tasked to meet Julie at Liverpool St. Station in the early 60s & escort her to Chelmsford Folk Club in deepest Essex. On the first of several such excursions, Julie, who was carrying two guitars, tripped on the stairs, the poor lass measuring her length on the concourse...one guitar went north-west, the other, north-east. Apart from a grazed knee, she was unhurt & both guitars undamaged. It was only after she had 'dusted herself off' that I noticed her high heels. Julie was a unique talent, loved by our audiences.
