There is a version in Duncan Emrich's 'Folklore on the American Land', p475, which is taken from Barry et al's 'British Ballads from Maine' p348, which I don't have a copy of. Emrich doesn't give the ultimate source of the version unfortunately. Joe or Jon or somebody yonside might have a copy and could check.
