I have been grieving all night since heeaing the terrible news.      I have been posting song after song of his on my facebook page.... as tears roll down. Yes as was said earlier, in better days people would be singing his songs in clubs and pubs and folk concerts and festivals and sessions and song circles all around the globe. As it is we have the internet, and it is filling with remembrances, archive footage and recordings, interviews, songwriters circles, and if you want to immerse yourselves in his music it is easily available.
My sympathies go out to his widow and children and everyone who is missing John Prine tonight. I will post a link to my page on the Mudcat face book page if you want to give a listen to John Prine's music.
