I had a song suggested to me by Ewan Lawrie of the Canberra Shanty Club.

'Ye Sons of Australia' was recorded by Danny Spooner and Martyn Wyndham-Read on various LPs in the 60s & 70s and the song appears in a 1968 published book of Bush Songs by Douglas Stewart. No author is credited, which seems strange for a song being circulated only 70-80 years after the death of Ned.

Interestingly, the start of the song focuses on Ned's sister, Kate Kelly.
