According to Elaine Orlando, Fred Neil was the guitarist on the March 1959 Darin sessions that produced "Dream Lover" and "Bullmoose." He also was the guitarist on the Dream Lover demo, which was discovered by Joel Dorn at the derelict New Jersey warehouse that had housed all of Atlantic Records master recordings before a devastating fire swept through the facility and destroyed most of them.
