I had been through the Mudcat looking at the other versions of "Marching Through Georgia" and there wasn't many listed, for such a stirring tune and lyrics, surely there must be many more versions around.

I had happening to be listening to a collection of Australian Military Tunes and Marches, when "Marching Song of the Third Light Horse" popped up, through I known the tune well and have heard it played & sung at Festivals, Balls, Military Parades for many years, I had never heard any other lyrics until today, which sparked a interest in finding out more.

The question still remains anybody know of other adaptions ? or any futher details of "Marching Song of the Third Light Horse"
