To watch clusters of contiguous states forming coalitions
in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic restrictions,
working together to coordinate the re-opening of
'non-essential' employment and businesses etc. :

this suggests the shape of the pieces
into which this nation may fracture,
in the not too distant future.

Then all the fractured jigsaw puzzle pieces
will have to learn how to get along with each other,
without one centralized government.
