I'm currently wearing a Citizen which has nice, bright, luminous features at night -- I've had it for better than 10 years now. When it comes back I'll wear the Seiko I bought just before the Y2K "disaster" struck (it's getting new hands). I also have a Seiko "automatic" (self-winding, it used to be called) that has a non-metallic band that I wear when I travel "above 60" for aurora hunting; it needs a new band and I'll be wearing it again, the luminous hands are quite good (purchased about 6 or 7 years ago).

The hands of the wind-up Bulova my brother gave me for Christmas, 1968 (he was in VN) still shine just fine.
