Yes we are all in this together.

But what is this thing we're in?
It is a complacency in our desent
into idiocracy with no violent
overthrow of those in charge.

We hoped, we waited, we wasted
time to only see the death of wisdom
measured on TV like a new weather forcast
showing dispassionate death in the millions.

Lets do nothing is their battle cry.
Promises are lies that help us die quietly.
I do not confuse preserving civility
with obeying the masters of the market.

Most of you will entertain yourselves to death,
It only takes one to do what needs to be done.
Survivors will claim we were all in this together
in our calm cowardly march into Idiocracy.

We all hope to be the survivor.
