i have a friend who has a house in japan and one in skipton, by the royal shepherd. i have been there many times and, though in yorkshire, it is a pleasant town. the highlight for me is the Sound Bar - a 2nd hand vinyl shop and bar, very appealing to guys of a certain age. but who knows what entertainments will survive this government. We got married from jap dave's house at the registry office there 20 odd years back. i'm always more than a happy for an excuse to go there
