Judging by the complete lack of response,
it seems mudcat may not be an appropriate place for new people discovering traditional folk music,
by attempting different approaches to trad folk music..


Apparently, not much enthusiasm or support here for optimistic imagination and experimentation...???

I may or may not enjoy some of the 'reimaginations' but at least I'll try listening out of interest...
