Well, we're recovering from a hangover of sorts. Yesterday we got the decision from the State Board of Tax Appeals on the 40% assessment increase we were awarded last year. The BTA agreed with us and accepted the figure we proposed. In the process they ripped the Assessor a brand new orifice as they did, we have since found out, in several other decisions. AAAAND this year's assessment is 55% over last year's uncorrected assessment! We're hitting the ol' Appeal Trail agin!

But in the meantime, raise a glass or three!
