I just remembered something that happened at my beloved Uncle Eddie's funeral. We are a staunch Navy family. Grandfather was in the Navy, serving in both world wars. His son was in the Navy and all six daughters married Navy men. We are also Roman Catholic. When Uncle Eddie died, dearest Aunt Doris, the center of our family, requested a particular piece of music be played at the funeral Mass. The priest said no. Aunt Doris insisted. After some wrangling, she got her way. Therefore, it was with happiness and pride that we were able say our final goodbyes to Uncle Eddie as the church organ rang out with "Anchors Aweigh".
