You’re right, Hootenanny, that it doesn’t sound much like Muddy's original. The blues (and most music, in my opinion) is about interpretation; I’m not trying to recreate the original. That’s what juke boxes are for.

Pretend it’s a song you’ve never heard before, and just listen on its own merits. Would you still argue it doesn’t sound like the blues? If so, then I guess I’ll just agree to disagree with you, because you’re interpreting differently than I am. :)
