I used to collect stamps years ago, but gave my collection to my nieces.
I suppose one shouldn't judge young folk who don't know about religions, cultures and depiction of them.
But our National Curriculum has a wide range of such subjects which teachers should be delivering to their students. I'm not a Muslim or a Hindu, bur I should say I know quite a bit about their beliefs and tenets.
There has been some controversy here about religious illustrations on stamps though.
