Good start, Keith. Here's some changes I made:

(Spoken) The year 1798, the eve of the Battle of Antrim. A time when Christian men united for the Rights of Man

By the harbor wall in sweet Glenarm
With trembling hearts, we pledged our hand
That neither would we fish nor farm
Til Ireland saw the rights of man

Then came the Presbyterian men
The truest hearts that graced our glen
We'll join with you, good neighbors, and
We'll be the brave United Men

CHORUS
And the fox and the hare
Sprang from their lair
And every creature in the glen
And the wild woods rang
As the songbirds sang
Hurra, the brave United Men
Hurra, the brave United Men

Every maiden's prayer blest the morning air
Our shining fifes they eyed with pride
And the sun shone fair through my darling’s hair
As she watched me by my father’s side

And my mother's cry: "Son I fear you'll die,
but still you are your father’s boy
And naught I say could make you stay
So here’s a kiss for Henry Joy"

CHORUS

And from the Glen came Antrims' men
Our banners flew both orange and green
With Henry Joy's United Men
We swept from Saintfield to Kilkee

But on Antrim’s plain, momma noticed the scene
My darling dragged me to the glen
Now in despair I wonder where
I'll hear that cry, "United Men"

CHORUS (x2) ["When the fox..." first time]
