I have incorporated some of the above info plus additional items I have found around the web into an updated version of the Isla Cameron article on Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isla_Cameron (some of it is unchanged from the efforts of previous contributors). If anyone has more that could be added - ideally from printed/published sources - I would be pleased to hear it.
