Sorry, "yours truly", I just don't get it. Leaving aside the "sequel" (which has no real connection with the original song), what is the "point of view that now is so obviously a misinterpritation of factual events (sic)"? I always thought the song was an impressionist account of a young man's growing up in a time when popular music was undergoing radical (and not in a political sense) changes.
