SPEAKING OF MISANTHROPES = they are not my enemy. My enemy is the -DENIAL- that resides in people that ignore the real issues in the lives they lead and think they must also insist that others must live up to ... They insist upon a patriarchy, capitalism greed, racism, colonialism, and deny that they are in the grip of antiquated ideas that are not their own liberated spirit.
To tolerate others who are different is a love society needs desperately. It is evolving. We are at a time when people are not defined by the work we do or where we are and are beyond just living in survival mode. Our identity is not confined to sameness. We can be different without approval from restricted people living in denial.
I prefer a transformative life without denial and can tolerate those who still live a life they think they must fit into a single mold and modality. The opportunity to examine one's own life exists every morning so there is hope for those who still lead unexamined lives.
