When I was a kid we measured rain in inches
Now rain is measured in feet
it flows down our toxic street
as a kid we rafted the creek

As a kid we trained to duck&cover
Now we can not even hide in bunker
Its to late for some who to try to breath air
Without Walter Cronkite the news isn't fair

Some things have changed
and some are the same
if ya can't love your neighbor
its really a shame.
