Did anyone ever have any luck finding the book this was in? I sang it in 5th grade, 1958-59 in Grove City, PA. I remember fragments of many other songs from that book but have never been able to locate it. There was a song called "The Gardener's Song" that had a verse:

He thought he saw a coach-and-four that stood beside his bed
He looked again and found it was a bear without a head
Poor thing, said he, poor silly thing it's waiting to be fed!
