I actually have a leopardskin cheesebox hat, thankyouverymuch - I got it at a flea market for $2. It's fake, of course.

My favorite cheese story happened several years ago when I worked at one-a-them "alternative newsweeklies." Countrypop band Sawyer Brown had just put out a new album, and our music reviewer called it "cheesy." A couple of weeks later, a package came for him. There was a very humorous and good-natured letter from the band, along with a 5-lb block of Velveeta.
