One more name to add to the catalogue of (probably)lost tapes - sometime around the late '50s or early '60s, Cyril Tawney had his own show on Westward TV, broadcast from Plymouth. Anyone know if there are any surviving recordings?

Also worth a mention are the brief (but fairly frequent)folk spots on BBC TV's early evening news show "Tonight" in the early 1960s. They featured Rory & Alex MacEwan, Cy Grant, Robin Hall & Jimmy MacGregor, Dusty Springfield (as a member of The Springfields), and many others.
