Two Rs, one Z.

And by Mad, Sen does not mean Angry, for those of you on my side of the pond.

But I was nicknamed Mrrzy practically at birth. I have used that name socially all my life, so, close on 60 years now. Hardly ludicrous. Which I used to think was "luducrious" back when I also thought Awry was pronounced AWE-ree.

Reread some James Thurber recently and Awry came up as AWE-ree instead of a-WRY, which cracked me up, as I've read that word correctly for decades by now. Context is everything.
