I guess the lasinoh is only here for the "crack".

I was told by Geoff Higginbottom - "neatsfoot oil" for reviving the skin but it tightens it.

I was told by the bodhran maker not to put anything on it, rely on the oils in your hands. Mine are pretty dry!
