Re: your remarks about space, a friend one time told me that one of his favorite things to photograph is doorways, and doorways with windows. I started making a point of trying his theory about the pleasure of photographing these portals and find he was correct. I have some very nice photos of doorways on historic houses that have experience a lot of "space travel" through them.
