Example of an improvised spontaneous ditty
or as the kids say; bustin a rhyme

The 300 year scope
of slow motion slaughter
used chains, iron and rope
Today bullets go farther
and has to stop or the holocaust
will shatter your life

You always knew that
black lives matter.


Anything can be a poem and doesn't need to rhyme,
but there should be some sort of rhythm implied.

Amos often stuck to a strict format but toward the end blew me away with organic brevity. To each their own.
