At this point Trump has so enraged his base against anything to do with sound science or careful personal behavior that such an order would be almost impossible to enforce. But the medical people being interviewed now are using the term "exponential" when describing the rapid spread of COVID-19 in the US population. We could use a good shutdown; stop complaining and see if it works. And maybe saves your lives.
