Fred Trump, Donald J.'s father, described
in Mary Trump's book as a sociopath,
owed much to Elisabeth, his widowed mother,
for bringing him into business in New York
after his father's death.
Fred was a minor, and needed Elisabeth's patronage (matronage??)
to get started.

When the formidable widow Elisabeth was elderly,
and her progeny successful,
she would go around to the Trump family residential properties,
proceed to the coin-operated laundry provided for tenants there,
and empty the coin-operated machines of their coins.

Whenever I wash my dirty laundry at
a coin-operated laundromat,
I shall remember the Trump dynasty, henceforth.
