An interesting idea for Jez's novel- no lack of imagination, that lad- who dunnit?- Drunken Bella Roy?

As far as I know, the first recording was by Louis Killen on the Topic EP 'Northumbrian Garland' from about 1960.

It was later incorporated in a Topic LP of Louis & Johnny Handle with two other EPs of a similar vintage.
