No vaccine can stop you from getting infected, if by that you mean stopping the germs getting into you (vaccines don't create a magic bubble round you). The virus may still get into your cells, but your immune system will prevent it from getting a foothold. The question that remains to be answered is whether there's a phase in which your antibodies are protecting you whilst at the same time you can still transmit viruses to other people. It's a question that must arise with all vaccines I should imagine. But, generally, vaccines work well, so let's be optimistic, eh? .
