Allow another real time poem

We tend to print all of the legends and lies and ignore the ugly truth.
The truth of our beauty is brief and the lifetime of lies is long.
The truth need not demand incontravertible proof.
Nor are all lies necessarily wrong.
It is because we are all mortal
That time is a locked portal.
