What I relish about this kind of thread,
is just how much members of a supposed music lovers forum
are actually so grumpily hostile to music...

Case in Point: "Downtown" being a classic song and recording,
and Petula Clark a well respected singer,
by most other reasonable standards..

Oh, but not worthy enough for the stringent puritanical dour tastes of miserable old folkies...!!!

It's a good job the rest of the music world is more tolerant
of them odd folk music weirdos...
