In the first transcription "Is minca bha mi" should read "is minic a bha mi" , "it's often I was". "Minic" can also be spelled "minig". I could see there was something wrong in the next line of that verse in the original post but didn't guess what the correct line would be, so I'm glad to see "An àirigh ghleannaich" in the second post.
